The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has issued three surveys about the potential use of government-mandated project labor agreements (PLAs) on projects in North Carolina and Florida. 

The USACE Wilmington, N.C. District has issued two requests for comments from the construction community for large-scale construction projects (exceeding $25 million) for the Battalion Operations Facility in Fort Bragg, N.C. Work will include constructing battalion headquarters and company operations facilities including secure administrative and operational work areas, classrooms, and conference rooms.

The USACE also has issued a survey requesting comments on the potential use of a PLA for a large-scale construction project in Duke Field, Fla. To respond to the survey, .

All ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓmembers and construction professionals are encouraged to respond to the request for information. Tell USACE that government-mandated PLAs harm competition, increase costs, and impede the economy and efficiency of government contracting.
