The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is seeking feedback from the construction industry about the potential use of government-mandated project labor agreements (PLAs) on large-scale federal projects in Illinois and the Savannah District.

The USACE Louisville District issued a survey about the use of a PLA on an Army Reserve Center at Fort Sheridan, Ill. To read more about the project and how to respond to the survey, click . Responses should be submitted via email to Michael Hutchens at [email protected] no later than by 1 p.m. (EST) on March 1.

The USACE Savannah District is requesting comments on large-scale federal construction projects within the Savannah District which includes projects in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. To review and learn how to respond to the PLA survey, click . Responses should be sent to [email protected] by 3 p.m. (EST) on March 8. 

All ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓmembers and construction professionals are encouraged to respond to the request for information. Tell the USACE that government-mandated PLAs harm competition, increase costs, and impede economy and efficiency in government contracting.
