This is a critical year for the construction industry, ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓmembers and the country. While ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓstaff works hard to promote legislation that is beneficial for the merit shop and the construction industry, it is most effective only when members themselves are involved.

Participate in a day of lobbying and discussions on current and emerging issues facing the construction industry. This is an opportunity to get in front of representatives and talk about key merit shop topics, including:

National Labor Relations Board/Department of Labor rules and regulations
Immigration reform
Tax reform 


Markwayne Mullin serves as a member of U.S. House of Representatives for Oklahoma’s 2nd Congressional District. As a freshman congressman, ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓmember and successful business owner, Mullin has a track record of operating a without debt, being innovative and creating jobs in the free enterprise system. He believes those same business principles should be applied to the way the government operates.
