Do your apprentices and craft trainees have what it takes to win the national title of ? The 2016 (NCC) intent-to-compete deadline is around the corner; get your forms in before Dec. 1 to participate in the 2016 NCC in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., March 1-4.

The intense two-day event will be held in conjunction with ABC’s Workforce Week and features the best craft trainees from around the country competing in .

Some crafts require additional planning and can accept only a limited number of competitors, so don’t delay in sending in the forms. Competitors will be accepted to compete on a first-come, first-served basis.

The 2016 competition will feature the below competitions:

  • Carpentry: Residential/Commercial
  • Electrical: Commercial-Industrial
  • Electrical: Residential-Commercial
  • Fire Sprinkler
  • HVAC
  • Instrumentation Fitting
  • Insulation
  • Masonry
  • Millwright/Industrial Maintenance Mechanic 
  • Pipefitting
  • Plumbing
  • Sheet Metal
  • Team Competition
  • Welding-Pipe
  • Welding-Structural
