President Obama March 31 signed a memorandum of disapproval effectively vetoing the joint resolution to block the NLRB’s ambush election rule, which will shorten the amount of time between when a union files a representation petition and an election takes place to as few as 14 calendar days beginning on April 14. ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓis continuing their legal challenge to this rule.

The joint resolution was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives by House Committee on Education and the Workforce Chairman John Kline (R-Minn.) and the Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Chairman Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.), which ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓ and urged President Obama to sign.

The (CDW) along with will continue to move forward with their lawsuits seeking to overturn the controversial rule.
