Our craft instructors have a huge impact on how well-prepared the nation’s future construction workers are and their dedication to building a skilled workforce should not go unnoticed. To thank our instructors across the country for their hard work, ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓwill award an instructor that teaches at an ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓChapter, training affiliate or member company with $10,000 and the title of .

All finalists will be flown to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and given a three-night stay during the Workforce Conference March 3-6 and will be honored at the Careers in Construction Awards ceremony. The winner will receive $10,000 from NCCER and the Trimmer Construction Education Foundation (TCEF), a trophy, a feature article in Construction Executive magazine and the winner’s employer will receive national recognition through ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓoutlets.

To be eligible for the award, the nominee must:

  • Currently teach a construction trade at an ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓchapter in good standing, training affiliate, or an active ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓmember firm.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 continuous years of experience teaching a construction trade (or equivalent instructor experience).
  • Be a NCCER Certified Instructor.
