The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) are requesting comments from the construction industry about the potential use of government-mandated project labor agreements (PLAs) on two large-scale federal projects in Maryland and California.

You can read more about the project and survey questions . Responses should be submitted via email to Nola Campbell at [email protected] and to Donald White at [email protected] by 2 p.m. (EST) on Dec. 11.

USACE would like feedback from the construction industry about a fuel storage system replacement project located at Edwards Air Force Base in Kern County, California. Learn more about the project and survey questions . Responses should be sent to Lucia A. Carvajal at [email protected] by 2 p.m. (PST) on Jan. 9.

All ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓmembers and construction professionals are encouraged to respond to the request for information. Tell NAVFAC and USACE that government-mandated PLAs harm competition, increase costs, and impede the economy and efficiency of government contracting.
