At the 2013 (NCC), Daniel Ary Sr. from Bakersfield, Calif., represented ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓmember company  in the welding-pipe competition. During the competition, Ary displayed his passion for his craft and his passion for being a part of the construction industry is clearly demonstrated in the video below. By sending a craft trainee to compete in the 2014 NCC competition, ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓmembers can also showcase their talented and dedicated employees.

 

If an ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓmember wants to send their talented craft trainees to compete on a national level, the deadline to submit an Intent to Compete form is Dec. 6, with some crafts accepting a limited number of competitors on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The two-day event, held April 29-May 2 in Birmingham, Ala., in conjunction with ABC’s , will hold competitions in the following crafts:

  • Electrical: Commercial-Industrial
  • Electrical: Residential-Commercial
  • Fire Sprinkler
  • HVAC
  • Instrumentation Fitting
  • Insulation
  • Millwright/Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

  • Sheet Metal
  • Welding-Pipe
  • Welding-Structural
