This year, elections for all 435 members of the U.S. House of Representatives, 36 U.S. Senate seats, 36 governorships, and numerous state legislative and local government offices will take place Nov. 4. While turning up to vote in the upcoming elections is critical, there are things you can do now to directly advocate for the needs of your business and employees.

It’s always a good idea to take advantage of any opportunity to meet face to face with a legislator when he or she holds a town hall meeting or forum in the district, but it’s even better to organize a personal meeting or company event. With Congress on recess, now is an excellent time to schedule these events. Ìý

To help members take make the most of the recess, ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓhas put together a 2013ÌýCongressional Recess Grassroots Toolkit.
