Duke Selected Among America鈥檚 Greatest Workplaces for 2024 by Newsweek

Honor highlights Duke鈥檚 benefits, work environment and culture

鈥淚n order to continue to be a world-class institution of teaching, learning, research and patient care, Duke must attract, retain and support a world-class workforce,鈥 said Antwan Lofton, Vice President for Duke Human Resources. 鈥淭o do that, we have to create a workplace that people want to be part of. We need to be a place where employees can grow in their careers and feel valued as people.鈥

partnered with to create the list, which is based on interviews with human resources professionals, publicly available data and surveys of more than 250,000 U.S.-based employees about their workplaces and other employers. Survey participants were asked about employers鈥 compensation and benefits, training and career progression, working environment, work-life balance, corporate culture and more.

So far in 2024, Newsweek has also featured Duke on its lists for America鈥檚 Greatest Workplaces for Job Starters, America鈥檚 Greatest Workplaces for Diversity and America鈥檚 Greatest Workplaces for Women.

Earlier this year, Duke also appeared on Forbes鈥 2024 lists of , America鈥檚 Best Employers for Diversity and America鈥檚 Best Employers for New Grads.
