Beginning on Jan 4, will offer its to help staff and faculty kick off the new year on a healthy note. Classes are held at 5:30 p.m. in room 210 of the Bivins Building.

Classes include Pilates, total body training, stretching, cardio circuit training, yoga and core training. Each class is 30 minutes and is designed for participants of all experience levels.

鈥淲e offer them as a benefit to Duke employees, but also for those employees who maybe don鈥檛 have a membership to a gym and enjoy group fitness or just want a community to share in fitness with,鈥 said Bullock, who leads several of the classes.

Whether a class is the start of a fitness journey or a chance to add a new workout into a routine, Bullock hopes the classes introduce something fun and healthy into people鈥檚 schedules.

鈥淚f you don鈥檛 know what type of exercise you enjoy and you want to try different types, you can see which style you like more,鈥 Bullock said. 鈥淭he hope is that they find something they enjoy but also have a blend of everything in their workout routine. Since we have just two a month, they can use it as something a little bit different than what they normally do.鈥
