From classical music, to jazz, theatrical performances, big bands, and a choreographed ode to the 1980s, Duke faculty and staff can enjoy a variety of performing arts offerings into 2023 at a savings.

Starting this fall, employees receive a on all upcoming Duke Performances events into spring 2023. With 22 remaining shows before the end of the year and others already scheduled for the spring, a full slate of creative and award-winning performers offers something for everyone to enjoy.

The fall 2022 season of performances continues with the play 鈥淭races: Address to African Nations鈥 on Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. in the Rubenstein Arts Center. Written by Duke Romance Studies faculty member Felwine Sarr, the show takes a new look at Africa through a modern lens as it emerges from its colonialism past and looks to the future.The Mingus Big Band is among the upcoming shows for Duke Performances. Other upcoming shows include the at Page Auditorium on Oct. 22; a celebration of the jazz music of on Oct. 28 and 29; and instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and dancer performing at Page Auditorium on Nov. 6. A full of events extends until April 2023.
