Staff and faculty receive 15 percent off all shows
From classical music, to jazz, theatrical performances, big bands, and a choreographed ode to the 1980s, Duke faculty and staff can enjoy a variety of performing arts offerings into 2023 at a savings.
Starting this fall, employees receive a on all upcoming Duke Performances events into spring 2023. With 22 remaining shows before the end of the year and others already scheduled for the spring, a full slate of creative and award-winning performers offers something for everyone to enjoy.
The fall 2022 season of performances continues with the play 鈥淭races: Address to African Nations鈥 on Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. in the Rubenstein Arts Center. Written by Duke Romance Studies faculty member Felwine Sarr, the show takes a new look at Africa through a modern lens as it emerges from its colonialism past and looks to the future.
Other upcoming shows include the at Page Auditorium on Oct. 22; a celebration of the jazz music of on Oct. 28 and 29; and instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and dancer performing at Page Auditorium on Nov. 6. A full of events extends until April 2023.
