Those cheers coming from the homes of Sarah Houston and Zane Lance Thursday night were matched by 886 other high school seniors across the country.  These exceptional students found out they are the first members of ��ţӰ��'s Class of 2024. By applying Early Decision, these students indicate that Duke is their first choice and commit to enroll at the university if admitted.

“The students who have been admitted in our Early Decision process will be much more than simply the foundation of the Class of 2024,” said Christoph Guttentag, Dean of Undergraduate Admissions. “They are academically the strongest Early Decision group in our history, and have been exceptionally engaged in their communities. They have set the tone for what I expect will be an outstanding class entering Duke next fall.”
