Secretary Mandy Cohen gave a talk, "DHHS’s Priorities for Addressing Early Childhood Health and Education in North Carolina," as part of the Sulzberger Distinguished Lecture Series on April 16. Before coming to DHHS, Cohen was the chief operating officer and chief of staff at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services under President Obama. The lecture was sponsored by Duke's Center for Child and Family Policy.
