Mikkelsen Wins Early-Career Award from American Physical Society
Maiken Mikkelsen, Nortel Networks Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and assistant professor of physics at Duke
The America Physical Society has named Duke Assistant Professor winner of its 2017 , citing Mikkelsen's "outstanding potential" in the field of quantum nanophotonics. The award, which recognizes achievement by early-career female physicists, grants the recipient $2,500 plus a $4,000 travel stipend to give public lectures on her field.
