Spin expands e-Bike and e-Scooter rentals on Duke's campus

Duke Parking and Transportation Services, in conjunction with alternative transportation company Spin, has added a limited number of electric bikes and electric scooters on campus.

Duke community members who are at least 18 years old can locate and rent 鈥檚 e-Bikes and e-Scooters by downloading the Spin app on their or devices and creating an account. Rentals cost $1 to start and 46 cents per minute.

With safety for riders and pedestrians a top priority, has adopted regarding e-Bikes and e-Scooters on campus.

Among the policies, scooters and e-bikes must be parked upright adjacent to a and not impede pedestrians, and they cannot be stored inside buildings.
