W. Main Street Blocked from Campus Drive to Buchanan Boulevard

A driver crashed into a power pole overnight, knocking out a power pole that must be replaced

W. Main Street is closed from Campus Drive to Buchanan Boulevard for the foreseeable future after a driver crashed into a power pole, knocking out a traffic light overnight Thursday.

Work on replacing the pole is underway, but there is no estimate for when it will be replaced.

Drivers should use Maxwell Avenue as an alternate route to the south between Main Street and Buchanan Boulevard, or Markham Avenue as an alternate to the north of East Campus.
