REAC Spotlight: Nicholas Chrapliwy on Creating Policies to Advance Racial Equity at Duke
Through a united effort across ÀÏÅ£Ó°ÊÓ, the (REAC) works to address racism, inequity, and injustice at Duke. Nicholas Chrapliwy, Duke alumni, offers his thoughts on REAC and its work. He specifically speaks on the Infrastructure & Policy subcommittee and being a student on the council.
The four REAC subcommittees are drawing on expertise at Duke and outside to make evidence-based policy recommendations on racial equity issues. REAC is responsible for advising the university’s executive leadership on implementation of the subcommittee recommendations.
