Traffic and Parking Advisory for Duke-Clemson Football on Sept. 4
Transit and parking adjustments are in effect for Sept. 4, which is also Labor Day
On Monday, Sept. 4, which is the Labor Day holiday, Duke will open the 2023 Football season hosting Clemson at 8:05 p.m. at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium.
To help fans and community members prepare for game, which will be televised nationally on ESPN, Duke is highlighting important transit, parking facility, and stadium entry information.
Due to expected traffic and congestion, fans and community members are asked to allow plenty of time to park and navigate areas in and around campus.
Stadium Gates
Stadium gates open at 6 p.m. Arrive early to avoid the rush immediately prior to kick-off. All concourse amenities, services, and Jr. Blue Devils Skills Challenge will be open and available at 6 p.m. Blue Devil Tower will also open at 6 p.m. for premium seating guests.
Transit
The following bus routes will operate on Sept. 4:
- from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- from 5:30 p.m. to 12 a.m.
- from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- additional buses for football from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
These bus routes will not operate on Sept. 4:

Parking
Most lots on West Campus will be restricted on Sept. 4 for football operations and will not be available for parking except for the , , , and the – all of which require a valid Duke parking permit for entry.
Parking Garage 1 will not be accessible for staff, faculty or student parking, however, visitors to the hospital and game day fans are permitted to park in PG 1.
Other lots and garages open at 3 p.m. for football parking. Visitors are required to pay the regular hourly rate in garages.
