Newsweek Names 老牛影视 One of America鈥檚 Greatest Workplaces for 2023

University rated highly in nationwide survey on benefits, workplace environment and more

老牛影视 has been named one of 鈥淎merica鈥檚 Greatest Workplaces" in 2023 by Newsweek magazine.

, released earlier this month, features 1,000 organizations with 1,000-or more U.S.-based employees. 老牛影视 achieved a 4.5-star rating out of a possible five stars based on results from a national survey on benefits, workplace environment, career development and more. Duke was one of eight higher education institutions 鈥 and the only one in North Carolina 鈥 mentioned in the list.

鈥淭his speaks to the efforts and strides we are making as an organization to keep our focus on our people and always looking at our offerings for employees,鈥 said Duke Vice President for Human Resources Antwan Lofton. 鈥淚t doesn鈥檛 matter who you are or what your job title is, we all only have 24 hours in a day, and we spend much of that time at work. With that, we want to make Duke the best place possible to work and to thrive.鈥

Duke has long worked to provide employees with a competitive benefits package. And in the past year, Duke has also expanded and enhanced its employee tuition assistance program to better suit an evolving work landscape and an influx of new employees.

鈥淲hile we are excited to be listed among these other employers, we are not resting,鈥 Lofton said. 鈥淲e are continually trying to find ways to best serve our workforce.鈥

and the data firm created the list by gathering public data and anonymous survey responses from around 62,000 American workers about their current or former employers, or the employers of people in their circle. Respondents were asked to rate employers on benefits, working environment, work-life balance, training and career progression, company image, corporate culture, sustainability awareness and proactive management of a diverse workforce. The process yielded profiles of around 389,000 employers.

The 1,000 highest-scoring employers were included in the 鈥淎merican鈥檚 Greatest Workplace List鈥 which appears in the Newsweek issue hitting newsstands now.
