When Arsha Sharma, T 鈥23, first arrived at Duke, she quickly found a place to belong in the Hindu Students Association (HSA), but soon she was curious about meeting students of other faiths. With her burgeoning interest in inter-religious dialogue, she took on the role of interfaith co-chair for HSA.
She partnered with three other groups on campus鈥擩ewish Life, Muslim Life, and the Sikh Society鈥攖o help run a student interfaith lunch series and then went on to co-found Duke Student Government's Interfaith Caucus. 鈥淭hat鈥檚 where my journey with interfaith really started,鈥 Sharma says.
